The matter, which also involves a Freedom of Information Act request from Hack, has been turned over to the township’s legal counsel. For more details, see the full story.
On a more positive note, Supervisor Gene Younker announced that Kaylee Walker and Joshua Barta were named the winners of the 2025 Peotone Township scholarships. The board also handled routine business, including approving financial reports and hearing updates on summer road maintenance projects. Annual Audit Scheduled for July
Supervisor Gene Younker announced that the township’s annual audit is scheduled for Friday, July 18. The audit will be conducted on-site by the accounting firm GW & Associates.
